Peter O’Brien

Delivered in Flushing, Queens, NY, drummer Peter O’Brien inherited his music abilities from his dad, drummer Costs O’Brien. Peter actually began playing when he could sit down at a drum established, and commenced his formal research with his dad at age group five. The prodigious O’Brien was recognized into his sentence structure college orchestra at age seven, and performed alongside seventh and 8th grade learners. This experience resulted in a musical scholarship or grant in senior high school and five many years of formal research with Charlie Perry. In 1976, at age group16, O’Brien went to a drum center kept by Perry at Hofstra College or university. In 1982, O’Brien toured the U.S. with Sibling Jack port McDuff and, from 1984-1985, performed all around the U.S. and Canada using the Edgar Wintertime Band. The music group featured the renowned vocalist Jerry LaCroix (the initial lead vocalist for White Garbage) and may be the just band to execute the jazz-inflected fusion materials from Edgar’s initial ground-breaking record Entry, in addition to his rock and roll and blues music. During this time period, O’Brien also performed many times with Roy Buchanan, including a sold-out display in the Beacon Theater with Johnny Winter season, Buddy Man, and Junior Wells. From 1986-1987, O’Brien toured European countries with Tag McMillan. A proceed to Woodstock, NY in early 1988 signaled a big change in O’Brien’s function ethic. He started dealing with John Hall, and in1989, he joined up with Hall’s music group Orleans.
