Peter Matthew Bauer

American musician and songwriter Peter Matthew Bauer carved away a distinct segment for himself primarily being a founding person in enormously well-known indie rock group the Walkmen, but was energetic both before his tenure with this band and following its nebulous dissolution. Bauer was among the founding associates from the Recoys, an unbiased music group from Boston that started in 1996. When the Recoys split in 1999, both Bauer and bandmate Hamilton Leithauser continued to become listed on fledgling action the Walkmen with some players in the also lately disbanded Jonathan Fireplace*Eater. Bauer performed bass and body organ in the Walkmen for 14 years before they continued hiatus in 2014, and he quickly established to function completing solo materials under his very own name. Bauer’s soul-searching single debut, Liberation!, was released in 2014 in the Mexican Summertime imprint.
