Peter Fraize

A fixture for the Washington, D.C., picture, tenor saxophonist Peter Fraize performs in a number of styles, although he’s best-known for his really difficult bop function that dresses the sides of freestyle jazz. Fraize grew up in north Virginia and researched traditional saxophone at the brand new Britain Conservatory of Music in Boston. Then traveled to European countries, where he emerged beneath the tutelage of Dutch saxophonist Leo truck Oostrom on the Royal Conservatory in the Hague.
