Biography
Trumpeter/composer Peter Evans is really a N.Con.C.-structured avant-garde jazz musician. A graduate from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Evans transferred to NY in 2003 after completing his research. Besides working his very own quartet with guitarist Brandon Seabrook, bassist Tom Blancarte, and drummer Kevin Shea, he’s also an associate of a multitude of groupings, including such free-leaning rings as Mostly OTHER FOLKS Do the Getting rid of, Sparks, and Carnival Epidermis. Evans released his debut single album, More Is certainly Even more, on PSI in 2006. His eponymous work The Peter Evans Quartet implemented on Firehouse 12 in 2007.
