Pete Wylie

The Liverpool-born post-punk elder statesman Pete Wylie was the first choice from the long-running Wah! and most of its variations (Wah! Warmth, the Mighty Wah!, Shambeko State Wah!, etc.). Despite staying a busy designer with a thorough discography through the entire ’80s, most beyond the U.K. just understand him as minimal famous of the key Three, a short-lived music group he is at with Julian Deal and Ian McCullough. After disbanding the Mighty Wah in the middle-’80s, he authorized to Virgin and released 1987’s “single” Sinful, that was acknowledged to him by his real name. A near-fatal incident in 1991 nearly triggered Wylie his lifestyle, just after he previously reappeared as Pete Wylie and Wah! The Mongrel. Wylie continuing with Wah!-related materials through the 2000s, launching new materials sporadically.
