Pete Oxley

b. c. 1962, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, Britain. Oxley’s parents had been musically willing and his mom performed violin. At his mom’s urging, he had taken a unique apprenticeship producing violin bows. Attracted to the guitar being a youngsters, he performed in rock rings, like the Suffolk-based group, Kashmir. From 1981 he went to the Leeds University of Music where he created a pastime in jazz. After graduating he transferred to Paris, France where he freelanced in the past due 80s, playing in rings backing various performers in different types of pop. Oxley also produced and led the brand new Noakes Quartet, with Pierre-Michel Sivadier (piano), Kerry Galloway (bass), and Etienne Brachet (drums).
