b. 18 November 1951, Gnosall, Staffordshire, Britain. Cooper’s fiddle playing continues to be acclaimed by many significant folk musicians, several whom he spent some time working with. Having began playing violin at age nine, he continued to learn traditional music during his teenage years. Then switched to learning British at Oxford College or university, from where he graduated in 1973. Reverting to music, Cooper after that went on to review old-time fiddle in Western world Virginia, USA soon after teaming up with acclaimed dulcimer participant Holly Tannen. Launching Frosty Morning, both then toured thoroughly, in America, European countries, and Britain. From 1983, Cooper began dealing with Peta Webb, saving The Heart HOLDS TRUE three years afterwards. The two performed clubs and celebrations through the entire UK. Never someone to sit down still for longer, Cooper then shaped Fiddling From Damage, in 1985, documenting ALL OVER THE World including Tannen on two paths, and issuing a booklet from the music included therein. Cooper after that shaped Vivando!, including previous Zumzeaux fiddle participant and vocalist, Neti Vaandrager (b. 21 August 1957, Rotterdam, Netherlands), Kathryn Locke (cello), and Geoff Coombs (mandola/mandolin). Jointly, the group performed a number of designs, encompassing Mexican and Bulgarian music, in addition to American, and first material. In the brand new millennium Cooper shaped Rattle FOR THE Stovepipe with Dave Arthur (b. Small Sutton, Cheshire, Britain; banjo, electric guitar, melodeon, vocals) and Chris Moreton (b. 1954, Surrey, Britain; guitar) to execute British and Appalachian Outdated Period music.
