An early on protégé of Goldie’s as the two done creation at 4 Hero’s Reinforced Details through the early ’90s, Peshay’s design of jungle/drum’n’bass, influenced both by home and the even more polished types of jazz fusion, allies itself both with Goldie and 4 Hero. A breakbeat DJ from early in his profession, Peshay debuted on polish with Reinforced in 1993, documenting the Protegé EP before signing up for Goldie’s Metalheadz steady and launching its second one, “Psychosis.” He also documented many 12″s with LTJ Bukem’s BEAUTIFUL Information, including “The Piano Tune” and “19.5.” Though hampered by way of a serious disease which sidelined him during jungle’s breakout season of 1995, Peshay came back in 1996, remixing singles from Goldie’s Timeless (“Internal City Lifestyle” and “Angel”) and adding tracks towards the Mo’Wax compilation Headz II. Registered to Mo’Wax, Peshay released the “Mls from your home” one in mid-1998, and done materials with Photek’s Rupert Parkes. The label’s useful dissolution by the next year resulted in delays for the anticipated full-length, though by July 1999, Peshay’s debut record — also known as Miles from your home — made an appearance on the Isle Blue label. Five even more 12″ singles made an appearance in the label, including “Change,” and “Truly,” in addition to many others for Photek Productions. De rigueur for top-flight jungle manufacturers, he also produced his very own label, Cubik Music Productions which released his very own 12″ singles and his following two albums, Fuzion in 2002, and Jammin’ in 2004. Aside from the releases by himself label, Peshay released singles and collaborations on Infrared, Dark Widow, Reinforced, and Development. He also focused on remixes for various other performers including Galliano, Jay Dee, Carl Craig, Goldie, Ingrid Schroeder, DJ Die, DJ Darkness, and Courtney Pine. In March of 2013, V Information released Peshay’s six-track EP Funkster; it had been accompanied by the three-track Generation EP on Tru Thoughts and his 4th full-length of the same name in Dec.
