An ethnomusicological method of the original music of Russia continues to be taken by the Pesen Zemli Vocal Outfit. Collecting tunes in remote control and fairly isolated villages of southern and southeastern Russia, the group offers continued to be faithful to the original noises, eschewing alternation and rearrangements. Founded in 1982 as Narodnyi Prazdnik, the Pesen Zemli Vocal Outfit represents the distributed eyesight of Ekaterina Dorokhova and Eugenia Kostina.
