Gudmundson’s music initial appeared in america in the 1993 collection Scandinavian Valley Music, and the next year he added to Frifot bandmate Lena Willemark’s Nordan record. Frifot’s 1999 record Summersong proclaimed the group’s US debut, which season Gudmundson also made an appearance in the Nordic Folk Musical instruments and Violins Of European countries compilations.
