Cuban traditional and improvisational pianist Pepesito Reyes (given birth to José Reyes Núñez) became well-known after doing work for almost 2 decades alongside Joselito Fernández. Creator and person in Fajardo con Sus Estrellas, the talented musician also performed inside a jazz ensemble known as Happy Happy as well as the Cuban pop group Los Martínez. After settling in NY, Pepesito Reyes experienced the opportunity to try out with Nat “Ruler” Cole, Duke Ellington, Tito Puente, and Astor Piazzola, among additional prominent artists.
