People Under the Stairs

The underground hip-hop outfit People Beneath the Stairs was formed by Mike Turner (Twice K) and Chris Portugal (Thes One), who met within the fringe of L.A.’s past due-’90s hip-hop underground. The duo, specialized in jazzy examples, danceable beats, complex rhyming abilities, and laid-back laughter, debuted in 1998 using the acclaimed THE NEXT PHASE and adopted it up in 2000 with Query by means of a remedy. Gathering heavy compliment and touring with De La Spirit, the group required their road encounters and brought it towards the studio room to record their following album. The ultimate results made an appearance in the summertime of 2002 beneath the name O.S.T. Busy with specific side projects, another People Beneath the Stairways recording, Stepfather, didn’t turn out for another four years.
