Formed in ’09 2009 by Steven Reker and Luke Fasano (of Yeasayer), People PREPARE YOURSELF began being a task conceived from the pair in an effort to combine the worlds of contemporary dance performance and indie rock and roll. Centered out of NEW YORK, the pair in the beginning cut their tooth with some performances predicated on materials Reker wrote during his period spent touring like a live guitarist for David Byrne. The next yr, Reker recruited Jen Goma and Wayne Rickman to complete the lineup, and after another group of effective performances at your kitchen in NY, the quartet released a self-titled EP aswell as the friend remix EP, Rusty Greg Jherek Luke, on Quite Scientific.
