Pee Wee Gaskins

Indonesian pop-punk heroes Pee Wee Gaskins initially shaped in Jakarta in 2007. Bassist and vocalist Dochi Sadega, a previous metal guitarist, made a decision to assemble a fresh band throughout the even more pop-oriented music he’d been composing. Along with guitarists Sansan and Ayi Mahardhiki, keyboardist Omo Satiri, and drummer Aldy Kumis, the music group produced their debut with 2008’s Tales from Our SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Years EP, which presented their radiant, melodic audio. Called after an American serial killer, Pee Wee Gaskins became an instantaneous cult strike in Indonesia, cultivating a faithful group of fans who make reference to themselves as “Party Dorks.” Following a 2009 launch of their debut recording, The Sophomore, their achievement became even more widespread by using their followers and social networking savvy. Their follow-up, 2010’s Advertisement Astra Per Aspera, presented a far more guitar-heavy audio, using the synths going for a somewhat smaller role. A small number of EPs showed up over another couple of years as Pee Wee Gaskins’ status grew and by 2015, they’d authorized with Common Music Indonesia. Their long-awaited third recording, Youth Not Lost, premiered in Feb 2016.
