Paulinho Moska

With five solo albums recorded from 1994 to 1999, Paulinho Moska is among the pop artists who contributed to the fusion of MPB with pop music within the ’90s, often including sambas as well as other genres in his varied repertory. A few of his strikes are “Último Dia” (with Billy Brandão), “A Seta e o Alvo” (with Nilo Romero), and “Me Chama de Chão” (with Branco Mello/Fernando Zarif). His 1st solo recording, Vontade, premiered in 1993. “O Último Dia,” from his second recording Pensar é Fazer Música, released in 1995, reached the graphs and became the theme music for the cleaning soap opera O Fim Perform Mundo, showing Moska to some national audience.
