Paul Q-Pek

The onetime guitarist from the punk-influenced Christian band One Poor Pig, Paul Q-Pek pursued a decidedly different direction upon beginning his solo career, crafting prog-tinged pop songs heavy for the synths; touchstones (obtaining a more religious bent in Q-Pek’s hands, needless to say) consist of Peter Gabriel, previous Phil Collins, middle-’80s Genesis, as well as Howard Jones, whose “Issues Can Only PROGRESS” Q-Pek protected on his 1996 debut, Contact the bottom. A indigenous of California, Q-Pek toured using the Continental Performers before co-founding the Christian punk clothing One Poor Pig within the middle-’80s. He departed in 1992 to go after subtler types of musical expression, putting your signature on with Absolute Information, whose first-ever launch was Q-Pek’s debut.
