Paul Murphy can be an early second-generation avant-garde jazz drummer. Located in N.Con.C. within the ’70s, his perhaps most obviously regular jazz work is at Jimmy Lyons’ rings and on many of Lyons’ recordings. Furthermore to his jazz past, Murphy also offers a whole lot of industrial studio room and touring knowledge. He has performed live with Ike and Tina Turner, Trip, and in a number of Las Vegas displays. The end from the ’90s discovered Murphy surviving in Washington D.C., frequenting jazz label Mapleshade being a studio room drummer.
