Biography

Dance vocalist Paul Lekakis forged a short career in the first ’90s. Hailing from Westchester State, NY, Lekakis uncovered his like of music by performing in cathedral choirs, in addition to music and dance classes during senior high school. Lekakis relocated to NEW YORK as an adolescent, to are a model, even while honing his performing and dancing abilities. Throughout a modeling project in Italy, Lekakis went dancing in a nightclub, where he was uncovered by a handful of record companies. A debut one followed quickly thereafter, “Increase Increase,” which became a shock worldwide strike (hitting number 1 both in Australia and Japan, and quantity 15 back within the U.S. pop graphs). Subsequently, Lekakis authorized a recording agreement with Sire Information, leading to the 1990 debut, Tattoo It. Despite Lekakis’ preliminary hit solitary, the album arrived and proceeded to go without very much fanfare.
