Paul Jackson

Paul Jackson is most connected with his profession within Herbie Hancock’s super jazz ensemble, Headhunters. Jackson began playing acoustic guitar for Anthony & the Imperials along with other jazz performers like Bobby Hutcherson and Woody Shaw. He co-founded Headhunters with Hancock and co-wrote “Chameleon.” His recording Dark Octopus was documented through the Headhunters’ 1978 tour of Japan and re-released in past due 2000 on Compact disc for the very first time, with four reward tracks.
