Paul Hofhaimer

Paul Hofhaimer was easily among the best possible organists of his day time, a few of his contemporaries claiming he previously no keyboard competitors. He made up many songs, aswell as body organ pieces, though the majority of his result hasn’t survived. Hofhaimer was created in Radstadt, Austria, in 1459. For this period, too, he created a popularity as a specialist on the structure of organs, and therefore often journeyed to various Western european cities to supply supervision and information on organ-building — Bolzano, Italy, in 1786-1787; Vitipeno, Italy, in 1790; and down the road in Innsbruck and Salzburg. In 1489 he recognized a posture as organist in the esteemed Frankfurt Courtroom of Maximilian I, while keeping his post in Innsbruck. After producing numerous other connections among royalty in Austria and Germany, Hofhaimer, using the blessing of Maximilian, resolved in Passau for a while (1502-1506), where he might have offered as organist beneath the Bishop of Passau.
