Paul Doktor

The son of the famous and respected musician, violist Paul Doktor produced a significant career without the feeling of the virtuoso repertory (although his technique was certainly from the first order). With discerning and devoted musicianship, Doktor gained his own solid way of measuring respect from peers and viewers alike. And a recognized performing profession, the violist was a thoughtful and probing trainer, serving with many of America’s most esteemed institutions. Doktor’s dad was Karl Doktor, violist and creator from the celebrated Busch Quartet.
