Vocalist Patti Drew had the very first hit edition of “Workin’ on the Groovy Factor,” later on a 1969 Best 20 R&B/pop strike for the 5th Dimensions. She started her singing profession as the business lead singer from the Drew-vels, including her sisters Lorraine and Erma and bass vocalist Carlton Dark. Born Dec 29, 1944, in Charleston, NC, Drew was raised in Nashville, TN, and later on relocated with her family members towards the Chicago suburb of Evanston.
