Biography

Patrick Prins studied piano and audio engineering on the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music for just two years before exciting the Euro techno community when his hardbag anthem “La Luna” surfaced in 1992 over the Ethics EP. Although EP premiered on the Find Noticed label, Prins started releasing singles by himself imprint (Movin’ Melodies) under several pseudonyms, including Artemisia as well as the Peppermint Lounge. In 1995, he agreed upon with Virgin’s techno subsidiary VC Recordings, which re-released his “La Luna” one.
