Patricia Kopatchinskaja is a Moldovan-Austrian violinist. She grew up in Chisinau in a family group of music artists, and was subjected to folk music through her parents, violinist Emilia Kopatchinskaja and cimbalom participant Viktor Kopatchinsky. While her parents toured using the condition folk ensemble, she used the violin at six. She came into the University or college of Music and Carrying out Arts in Vienna at 17, where she pursued violin and structure. She received a scholarship to review at the University or college in Bern, Switzerland, where she caused Igor Ozim. Kopatchinskaja offers performed internationally with main orchestras, like the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the London Philharmonic Orchestra; the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra called her an Artistic Partner for the 2014-15 time of year. She’s also made an appearance with Il Giardino Armonico, MusicAeterna, the Akademie für Alte Musik, Berlin, the Orchestre des Champs-Élysésera, as well as the Orchestra of age Enlightenment. Kopatchinskaja offers documented for Alpha, Audite, Naïve, ECM New Series, and Paladino Music.
