Paths of Possession

Created in 1999 round the talents of Randy Butman, Jay Fossen, and ex-Morbid Angel guitarist Richard Brunelle, Florida-based rock outfit Pathways of Possession create a punishing mixture of classic Bay Region thrash and melodic Scandinavian death steel. The band’s 1st disk, Legacy in Ashes, premiered individually in 2000, accompanied by a break up EP known as Crypts of Madness with fellow southeasterners Dark Trust in 2003. The music group signed with Metallic Knife in 2004 and was became a member of by Jack port Goodwin, Nick Goodyear, and Cannibal Corpse vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher, most of whom made an appearance on 2005’s Guarantees in Bloodstream and 2007’s THE FINISH from the Hour.
