The sparkling, stylish trio Pastora blend sweet electro-pop with warm acoustic sounds to generate music that’s future-minded but comfortable aswell. Vocalist Dolo Beltrán and multi-instrumentalist brothers Caïm and Pauet Riba launched Pastora using the sophisti-pop solitary “Lola.” The Spanish strike landed on the self-titled 2004 debut, released from the RCA International label. 2 yrs later they came back with La Vida Moderna, an idea album that presented 13 tales of individuals breaking free from convention as well as the occasionally exhilarating, occasionally alienating outcomes. The CD premiered with a reward DVD that highlighted 13 “visible compositions” developed by Pauet Riba to accompany the music.
