Parlovr

Self-described “Sloppy Pop” trio Parlovr (pronounced “parlor”) shaped in Montreal, Quebec in 2005 across the skills of Louis Jackson, Alex Cooper, and Jeremy MacCuish. Having a seriously beat-up arsenal of drums, keyboards, and guitars, the trio bangs out willful slabs of experimental rock and roll that reflect an array of affects that are the Pixies, Led by Voices, as well as the Speaking Heads, and a healthful dose of the type of anthem-driven, ensemble-heavy indie rock and roll which has fueled likewise themed Canadian works like Vegetation and Pets, Arcade Open fire, and Handsome Furs. Parlovr released its debut, self-released eponymous LP in 2008.
