Parlour Flames

A collaboration between guitarist Paul Arthurs — most widely known as Bonehead, the next guitarist in Oasis through the group’s ’90s heyday — and songer/writer Alan Wilkes (who performs beneath the stage name Vinny Peculiar and has previously caused such iconoclasts as Expenses Drummond and Luke Haines), Parlour Flames is a Manchester-based duo that explores the heady territory between traditional guitar rock and wordy, literate pop. Arthurs and Wilkes became a member of causes in 2012 — the previous managing the music, the second option what — and released their 1st single, “Manchester Rainfall”/”Something & Nothing at all,” on Apr 20, 2013 (aka Record Shop Day). Shortly afterward, the group’s self-titled debut premiered on Cherry Crimson Records.
