The Brooklyn-based duo Parlor Wayne pitted the crystalline tenor of Ryan Hedgecock (the founder of roots rockers Lone Justice) contrary to the rootsy twang of Amy Allison (child of jazz great Mose Allison) to make a gothic sound steeped within the traditions of country vocal harmony. The set 1st teamed in 1994, after Hedgecock came back from an extended self-imposed exile from your music industry following a dissolution of Lone Justice. He fulfilled Allison, the onetime frontwoman for the country-rock music group the Maudlins, at a fresh York songwriters’ display, and soon these were composing and performing being a duo. In 1996, Parlor Adam released their debut EP, the six-song collection Dreadful Sorry. Aged Dreams implemented in 1998.
