Adding new stamina to punk rock’s past due-’90s revival, the Portuguese squad the Parkinsons eventually became the sweeties of all of the English press — a press that didn’t hesitate to mention the band among the “following big thing[s].” Nevertheless, and before all of the buzz, the band’s origins began to develop in the very beginning of the ’90s, when guitarist Victor Torpedo and drummer Pedro Xau were able to secure an archive cope with U.S.-centered Elevator Music for his or her band, the Tedio Boys.
