Paperboys

The Canadian music group the Paperboys combined the sounds of bluegrass, folk-pop and Celtic music to make a distinctive and rollicking style that they dubbed “stomp.” Produced in Vancouver, United kingdom Columbia in 1992 by business lead vocalist and guitarist Tom Landa, the initial Paperboys lineup also included percussionist Paul Lawton and banjoist/bassist Cam Salay; fiddler Shona Le Mottée and multi-instrumentalist Shannon Saunders both enlisted in 1995, and afterwards that same season the group released their debut LP, Later as Normal. After documenting 1997’s Juno Award-winning Molinos, Le Mottée still left the group, and was changed by flautist Hans Araki. In 2000 The music group released their first record on Red Home Information entitled Postcards.
