Panurge

Biography

Mixing ’60s pop sources with electronic genre features, funk-style inspirations, along with other groovy soundings, Panurge surfaced within the Vancouver golf club picture in 2000. Embodying the Canadian trio had been Christopher Lovell (vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboards), Fantom (bass, vocals, keyboards), and DJ Si Unyil(turntables, development), most of them having substantial previous musical encounter. The trio’s razor-sharp electronic sound, backed by eager pop lineaments led these to quickly produce an ever-growing group of fans, not merely locally but additionally on the web, therefore managing to provide their sound across a variety of worldwide locations. Carrying out a short period training their original shades, the trio made a decision to launch its first record. Erectangle, their debut and individually released album, strike record shops in 2001, several months prior to the issuing from the trio’s second full-length, Pythagorhythms.
