P’ansori

P’ansori is a kind of folk opera, using a lone vocalist bringing a variety of assignments of life for eight hours, unaided by conventional theatrical components! Kim So-Hee’s vocal power have gained her the name of “intangible nationwide treasure,” an honor also bestowed upon her three accompanists over the 1972 tour which led to this Nonesuch documenting.
