Area of the Polish Trax! steady of industrial performers, Pankow is really a Western duo located in Florence, Italy whose primary includes multi-instrumentalist/test manipulator Maurizio Fasolo and German vocalist Alex Spalck. Dark and nihilistic within the extreme, in addition to intermittently scatological, Pankow noticed their first home launch in 1988 with an EP known as Independence for the Slaves. 1989’s Gisela, the band’s 1st full-length album, included a cover from the Normal’s “Warm Leatherette,” along with the notorious “Me and My Ding Dong,” which musically up to date the sensibility of Chuck Berry’s “My Ding-a-Ling.” “Me and My Ding Dong” was remixed and released because the centerpiece of the EP entitled Pankow DEMONSTRATE Their Dongs, where stage the band parted methods with Polish Trax! Pankow resurfaced in 1991 having a live compilation on ROIR, Omne Anima Triste Post Coitum (which means “All Pets Are Sad After Coitus”).
