Mexican pop-punk music group Panda shaped in 1996 when friends Pepe (José Madero) and Rix (Ricardo Treviño) made a decision to leave the grunge music group these were in and begin a new one which better mirrored their love of organizations just like the Alkaline Trio and blink-182. With Pepe on vocals and tempo acoustic guitar and Rix on bass, the duo installed with fellow Monterey, Nuevo León, occupants and close friends guitarist Ongi (Jorge Garza) and drummer Chunky (David Castillo). After documenting a demonstration, Chunky made a decision to keep the music group and was changed by Kross (Jorge Vázquez); Panda (occasionally spelled PXNDX) after that brought their music to the eye of Movic Information, which quickly authorized them.
