Seattle’s Panda & Angel feature Josh Wackerly (acoustic guitar), Carrie Murphy (acoustic guitar/vocals), Zaun Zehner (drums), Laura Enderle (bass), and Kara Kikuchi (keyboards). Called after among Wackerly’s co-workers, a musician-turned-junkie known as Panda, and Panda’s sweetheart Angel, the moody, melancholic indie rock and roll quintet came collectively in 2004. Wackerly previously used the Suicide Press take action S, while Murphy performed with Touchdown Eagle. Through the first half a year after developing the music group, Panda & Angel started headlining club displays around Seattle. Extra shared times with famous brands Wolf Parade, Music group of Horses, the Elected, Crystal Skulls, and Maria Taylor adopted into 2005. A cope with Jade Tree was also inked by the finish of that 12 months, with Panda & Angel going into Avast! Studios for his or her debut documenting. The Panda & Angel EP found its way to July 2006.
