Biography

b. Philadelphia, Pa, USA. Williams started playing tenor saxophone while still extremely young and performed within the Martin Luther Ruler Jazz Outfit at Ruler SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in her home-town. In her teenagers she had been leading her very own band, playing regional clubs and creating a wide-ranging repertoire that encompassed jazz, Latin, R&B and hip-hop. When she was 20 she started touring with Patti LaBelle, an engagement that lasted nearly six years. In 1996 Williams’ documenting of ‘Top secret Garden’, an individual from Saxtress, which highlighted performers Teena Marie and LaBelle, spent four a few months over the Billboard Best 25. Williams in addition has caused Prince and it has produced movies with Barry Light. An hugely talented participant, Williams has generated an enviable pursuing among a youthful era of listeners and has generated a satisfying mixture of even jazz and modern pop.
