Three part outfit from Dublin, Eire, featuring Matthew Deveraux (vocals), Shane Wearen (mandolin), and Sean Molloy (bass). A&M Information signed the music group after their debut discharge, a limited model cassette entitled Why Move Bald (the music group certainly, are well shorn), triggered ripples throughout London’s A&R departments. Their initial single, ‘Canines WITHOUT Tails’, was seriously marketed, but, despite its memorably bizarre screen of Eastern Western european and pop customs, it didn’t achieve a solid chart putting. Their debut record was packed with quirky but self-consciously ‘odd’ tracks namechecking Airfix model products and so on. The music group’s idiosyncratic skill attracted some interest but after intensive touring to get the record they elected to contact it a time.
