Pale Dian

Pale Dian are an Austin-based trio who fuse components of dark post-punk and ethereal shoegaze with traveling rhythms and noisy, swirling guitars. Vocalist/key pad participant Ruth Ellen Smith and guitarist Derek Kutzer had been previously in Blackstone Rngrs, however they transformed the name (and quit drummer Dan Bornhorst and only a drum machine) to be able to better reflect the moods and styles of the task. They performed their first displays as Pale Dian in 2015, in the beginning with bassist Ben Fleming, who was simply changed by Nicholas Volpe. The trio gigged around Tx with local organizations like Bloody Kitchen knives and Drab Majesty, ultimately touring all of those other United States posting the stage with rings such as for example Cheatahs and Stargazer Lillies. Their debut recording, Narrow Birth, premiered by Manifesto in 2016.
