Author of “Vão Acabar Com a Praça Onze” and “Cavaco Emprestado” (recorded by Paulinho daViola), and having tracks recorded by Nara Leão, Germano Matias, Jamelão, Quarteto em Cy, Eliana Pittman, Noite Ilustrada, and Isaurinha Garcia, Padeirinho had achievement with “Cuidado, Menina” (with Ismael Bautista), “Rio, Carnaval dos Carnavais” (with Moacir da Silva/Nilton Russo, 1971), “O Grande Presidente,” and “A Mais Querida” (recorded by himself for the 1974 LP História das Escolas de Samba: Mangueira).
