Ocala, FL’s Paddock Recreation area were formed in 2007 but quickly graduated from rehearsal area to studio, thanks to the friendly people in Eulogy Recordings, who had been impressed using the teen band’s capable (if hardly groundbreaking) make of emo-screamo hardcore. Released in nov 2008, their debut record, A Concealing Place for Fake Close friends, was documented by vocalist Jason Neil, screamer Brian Calzini, guitarists John Copeland and Timmy Brant, bassist Sanders Dukes, and drummer Bobby Scruggs, however the initial two were shortly ousted for an individual frontman in Austin McAuley, while guitarist Copeland assumed co-lead vocals.
