Biography
Pianist Pablo Ziegler is recognized as among Astor Piazzolla’s main protégés. He started performing traditional music in concert as a teenager and became influenced by Dixieland jazz immediately after; he mixed the two designs in his Pablo Ziegler Trio, which performed traditional items with jazz preparations. After his years using the trio, Ziegler was asked to try out with Astor Piazzolla’s New Tango Quintet in 1978, and performed and documented using the group for over ten years. He also performed with worldwide performers like Milva, an Italian vocalist with whom he collaborated with an homage to Maria Callas in the Market de Verona, in addition to American vibes participant Gary Burton. Ziegler used Piazzolla through the entire ’80s, showing up on albums like New Tango and Astor Piazzolla: The Central Recreation area Concert. After Piazzolla’s loss of life in 1992, Ziegler produced the Quintet for New Tango, executing internationally and launching albums like 1999’s self-titled function. He in addition has collaborated on albums with Emanuel Ax as well as the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, both which display Piazzolla’s music.
