P.Y.T.

P.Con.T. is a lady teenager pop vocal group comprising Lydia Bell, Lauren Mayhew, Ashley Niven, and Tracy Williams, all natives of Tampa, FL. Bell, Mayhew, and Williams fulfilled at age group six if they started performing within the Tampa-based musical movie theater troupe Entertainment Revue; Niven became a member of the revue when she was nine. All continued to professions as professional kid performers: Bell and Williams made an appearance in lots of stage musicals; Mayhew was over the PBS series The Reppies and became a normal over the ABC cleaning soap opera Guiding Light; and Niven, students at Orange Grove Performing Arts College, was a highlighted soloist within the school’s arts plan. They produced their group in nov 1998 and had been agreed upon to Epic Information, which released their debut one, “Something More Gorgeous,” in 1999, accompanied by “P.Con.T. (Down beside me)” in 2000. Through the summer months of 2000, they toured as an starting action for ‘N Sync and Britney Spears, afterwards also starting for Destiny’s Kid. In 2001, Epic released their one “Same Ol’ Same Ol’,” accompanied by their debut record, Down beside me. That summer months, they toured as an starting action for 98°.
