A year or two after achieving the finals of Australian Idol as an adolescent, Melbourne indigenous Brooke Addamo emerged beneath the moniker Owl Eye, releasing her debut EP Faces this year 2010. Mixing lush, ’80s-infused synth pop with warm, airy vocals, Addamo quickly obtained the support of Australian youngsters radio huge Triple J and captivated label curiosity. Two even more EPs adopted (2011’s Raiders and 2012’s Crystalised) as she toured and created her audio, collaborating with additional songwriters and makers and eventually putting your signature on with Wunderkind/Warner, which released her debut recording, Nightswim, in 2013.
