After five years over the mixtape circuit, the quirky Los Angeles-based hip-hop group OverDoz landed a major-label record deal via the RCA imprint Polo Grounds. Offering rappers Joon, P, Kent, and Creamie, OverDoz initial earned evaluations to Outkast and Digital Underground in 2008 if they released their debut mixtape Bowties and Rosaries. Further mixtapes Nova (2010) and Live For, Die For (2011) helped pass on the word, nonetheless it was the flashy and kinetic published videos for monitors like “Growin’ Aches” and “Arrive First” that basically set up the quantities, counting up sights in the thousands.
