Overcast

Metalcore pioneers Overcast shaped in 1991 in Boston, MA, throughout the abilities of bass participant Mike D’Antonio, guitarists Pete Cortese and Scott McCooe, vocalist Brian Good, and drummer Jay Fitzgerald. The music group released its debut 7″, Bleed into One, in 1992 on Exchange Information, accompanied by the full-length Expectational Dilution in 1994. Three even more 7″ releases found its way to 1995 and 1996, culminating within the Combat Ambition to Eliminate full-length the next calendar year. In 1998, following a less than effective tour, the group silently disbanded, splintering off to be cogs in various different rings, including Shadows Fall (Good), Killswitch Engage (D’Antonio), Seemless (Cortese), Transient (McCooe), and Tunnel Drill (Fitzgerald). The music group reunited in 2008 for the Steel Blade discharge Reborn to Wipe out Again, a assortment of re-recordings of music group and enthusiast favorites, in addition to two completely new tracks.
