Outside Edge

Formerly referred to as Blackfoot Sue and Liner, this UK band switched towards the name Outdoors Edge in 1984 to pursue an AOR direction. Composed of Tom Farmer (vocals, bass), Eddie Galga (electric guitar), Pete Giles (keyboards) and Dave Farmer (drums), they agreed upon to Warner Brothers Information and released a self-titled debut in 1985. This is Americanized melodic rock and roll, but featured tough and ragged vocals from Farmer, as opposed to the musical stylization. Working Hot implemented in 1986 and was made by Terry Manning (of ZZ Best popularity), but Outdoors Edge had been still struggling to break through on the industrial level. The Farmer brothers still left in 1989 and the rest of the duo recruited brand-new members to be Little Wing.
