Outrage

Surely among Japan’s best-kept rock secrets, Nagoya-based thrashers Outrage have already been positively touring and releasing information within their homeland since 1987, but have precious small recognition showing for his or her illustrious career past their homeland’s edges. Originally created in 1982, the music group only strike their stride once vocalist Naoki Hashimoto changed founding frontman Kazutoyo Ito in 1986, becoming a member of a well-oiled thrash metallic machine constructed by guitarist Yousuke Abe, bassist Yoshihiro Yasui, and drummer Shinya Tange, and starting Outrage’s profession via an eponymous 1987 EP. This is accompanied by a string of Metallica-influenced albums in 1988’s Dark Clouds, 1989’s Blind to Fact, 1990’s THE FANTASTIC Blue, 1991’s THE ULTIMATE Day time, 1993’s Spit, 1995’s Existence Until Deaf, and 1997’s Who We Are — many of them unavailable outside Japan despite released by main labels domestically. Unfortunately, Hashimoto broke rank along with his bandmates in 1998, however they proceeded to test out mainstream metal as well as stoner rock and roll hallmarks on following LPs like 2002’s 24-7 and 2004’s Trigger for Pause (released amid many EPs, compilations, and Dvd videos), which noticed guitarist Abe also managing vocals. However when Hashimoto came back in 2007, Outrage instantly revived their thrashing methods for their devoted enthusiasts with 2009’s eponymous Outrage record.
