Gospel soul-sisters in a lot more than just name, Lisa, Andrea and Pleasure Kimmey became popular because the 1st Christian Contemporary band of the ’90s to get back soul/R&B through the secular masses. Created in Richmond, VA, between 1975 and 1980, the Kimmey sisters was raised on stage, carrying out like a support work for their mom, who’s a traditional pianist. Authorized to the Gotee label by Joey Elwood and Todd Collins, From Eden shipped their 1st album Lovin’ your day in 1994. The record became a Christian Modern strike, and sparked the favorite acclaim from the Kimmeys’ second, 1996’s A lot more than YOU UNDERSTAND; No Turning Back again implemented in 1999.
