Otto Barblan

Barblan studied body organ, structure and piano in Stuttgart Conservatory. He trained music at Chur and offered as organist for the Cathedral of St. Peter in Geneva until 1942, the entire year before his loss of life. In his capability as conductor from the Société de Chant Sacré he released the functions of Bach, Beethoven, Handel and Franck to Geneva’s musical culture. His very own compositions are within a neo-Baroque design and so are most effective in his patriotic functions for body organ and choir.
